Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och analysera vilken funktion skolbibliotek kan ha i skolorna 2013 i förhållande till skollagen och utifrån frågeställningar där skolbiblioteket analyseras utifrån fyra områden: rummet, medierna och informationssystemet, personalen samt eleverna. Metoderna som används för att genomföra denna studie är kvalitativa. Det innebär att fyra varianter av skolbibliotek undersöktes genom samtalsintervjuer med skolbibliotekspersonal, enkätfrågor till elever i årskurs nio samt enkätfrågor till rektorerna på de aktuella skolorna. Resultaten analyseras och jämförs i förhållande till hur ett skolbibliotek kan definieras. Resultaten visar att det är när områdena ovan är kompletta och sätts samman som skolbiblioteket får den funktion som efterfrågas i skollagen.

Detta arbete handlar om den fysiska läsmiljön i skolbibliotek. I arbetet görs en kvalitativ undersökning av den fysiska läsmiljön i skolbibliotek. Arbetet består av intervjuer och observationer på olika skolbibliotek i en medelstor kommun och på Rum för barn på Kulturhuset i Stockholm. Barn- och ungdomsbiblioteket Rum för barn arbetar medvetet med den fysiska miljön och i arbetet har Rum för barn varit en ?idealisk miljö? som jämförts med skolbiblioteken.

This master thesis deals with the problem of integrated libraries. The number of integrated public and school libraries has significantly increased over time. These libraries are integrated for different reasons, most often because of economic considerations. The goal of the thesis is to investigate librarians´ understanding and perceptions of the professional role in this type of integrated libraries. I have investigated how librarians see and interpret their own professional role, and what factors influence their perceptions in an integrated library.The three main questions are: How do the librarians explain their professional role in an integrated library? How does their professional role change because of the fact that they work in an integrated environment? What factors, according to the librarians, influence and/or change the professional role mostly? The data has been collected through interviews with eight librarians at integrated libraries.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur lärare undervisar för att stimulera elevers läslust, samt hur de anser att skolbibliotek bör utvecklas för att kunna fungera som en resurs i arbetet med detta. För att uppnå studiens syfte har jag genomfört semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex lärare. Resultatet visar att lärare främst använder ett varierat arbetssätt för att stimulera elevers läslust, men även låter eleverna välja böcker och samarbetar med de lokala folkbiblioteken. För att deras skolbibliotek ska kunna fungera som en resurs för att stimulera elevernas läslust anser lärarna att de måste vara bemannade samt att bokutbuden behöver bli större och mer varierat. .

This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

This event started in the mid-eighties as a small happening that attracted almost exclusively musicians that were a part of the bordooon movement. The bordoon movement gathered a couple of days in the summer at what they called the ?Korrö bordunstämma? to build instruments and play folk music.

The early 20th century saw the Church of Sweden (Svenska kyrkan) come under threat from the modernization of the Swedish society. As a reaction to this and a way to secure the survival of the church a number theologians came up with a theological framework for the folk church (folkkyrkotanken).The parish of Masthugget was one of the poorest in the entire diocese of Gothenburg in the beginning of the 20th century. This is where Gottfrid Klingner came to serve first as a pastor and later as the vicar for more than 30 years. In which way did his view on the church affect life for the inhabitants in his parish and how were his actions affected by the framework for the folk church? This paper shows that the practice of Klingner in Masthugget can be linked to many of the ideas associated to the folk church concept..

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att ta reda på hur dagspressen framställer och debatterar skolbiblioteket gällande problem och verksamhet och vilka möjligheter allmänheten därigenom får att bilda sig en uppfattning om det. Analysen genomförs med Connected Concept Analysis som är en textanalys med både kvalitativa och kvantitativa inslag och visualiseras genom nätverk. Teoretiska utgångspunkter kommer från diskursanalysen, domänanalysen och nätverksanalysen. Tidsmässigt är uppsatsen fokuserad på tiden efter lagändringen 2011. Inom problemområdet kan man se en diskurs kring tillgång till skolbibliotek och den nya lagen har en tydlig koppling till denna.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine libraries which combine the functions of school- and public library and to evaluate the staff?s experience and attitude towards a library profile with the emphasis on children and youth. The purpose of the study is also to examine how the libraries work with several tasks and functions within different target groups with different needs.With new institutionalism and Scandinavian institutional theory the thesis examine the library as an organization and what influences the construction. With a model that describes how the library constitutes four different rooms in the society I investigate the different functions.The methodology is qualitative with interviews of five persons of the staff, four librarians and one library assistant. The study examines how the staff that works at two libraries under similar conditions experiences their tasks.

The text discusses the folk-tale princess as a good role model for both children and adults, from a feminist debate concerning this issue. Also an iconographic study, it compares women in folk-tale illustrations with women represented in fin-de-Siècle art concentrating on the Great mother goddess and the femme fatale, finding similarities between folk-tale illustrations and other art. Besides that, the text look at the interest for Swedish folk-tales in the 1890´s, the connection between women as illustrators of children?s books and ideas about nature and womanhood that might have had influence on the Swedish artist Elsa Beskow at the time..

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur lärare och skolans bibliotekarier uppfattar skolbiblioteket och dess roll i undervisningen på högstadiet. Studien baseras på intervjuer som gjorts med lärare och bibliotekarier på två skolor. Vi har inspirerats av fenomenografin men använder en deskriptiv metod och beskriver i vårt resultat fyra delar: användning av skolbiblioteket, undersökande arbetssätt, skolbibliotekets roll och dess miljö och skolans bibliotekariers roll. I resultatet kommer vi fram till att skolbiblioteket har en viktig roll och att det finns en positiv inställning till skolbiblioteket. Skolbiblioteket används till studier, arbete och skönlitterär läsning.
